Collection of Marriage Certificate

03 Jan

Today is our appointment to collect our Certificate of Marriage at the Registries of Marriages at Fort Canning. We reached the place at about 10am and took a queue number. As the wait was quite long, we walked around the compound (since it was our first time there hah) and read some of their publications while waiting.

It was then our turn and we produced the necessary documents to the registrar and verified the details. We were also required to read out some declarations before being handed the Certificate of Marriage!

After all is done, we informed our Solemniser, Mr Soon Min Yam, and everything is settled!

We then headed for lunch before going down to La Belle again to collect the remaining gowns, since some alterations were still needed after last Sunday’s final fitting.

Congrats on your marriage! Mine’s a week after yours, which is coming this week.
I’d like to thank you for documenting your wedding research journey, of which I took many as reference 🙂 I’ve set up my diamond ring & bought wedding bands at Canary based on your recommendation. I’ve also purchased wines from Wine BOS as well. Hope to read more about your final actual day
