6 July 2012 (Fri) was our wedding gowns (and suits) selection appointment. Dear took the whole day off though the appointment time was 3pm, cos she wanted to be there earlier hah. Her mum went down too, partly to accompany her and partly to see if they have any suitable evening gowns that she can use for our wedding day. Dear and her mum reached La Belle at 1plus pm while I reached pretty on the dot at 3pm.
By the time I reached, dear was already trying her third wedding gown already! With so many gowns to choose from and with quite a vague idea of what she wants, a lot of time was needed hah. In the next four hours (almost), she was trying gown after gown non-stop! Wedding gowns, evening gowns, outdoor photoshoot gowns, tea dresses etc.
Gown selection appointment – Part One
She managed to choose her wedding gown and an evening gown for the actual day (and indoor photoshoot if she wants), and another evening gown for indoor photoshoot. Obviously 4 hours were not sufficient for a bride-to-be hah. We will thus be back again for the second selection on 18 Jul 2012 (Wed). She will need to choose more gowns for her photoshoot (especially outdoor shoot), gown/cheongsam/kua for the morning tea ceremony on actual day, and also a dress for the solemnisation.
As for me, super easy. I chose 2 suits (a black and a dark grey) for the wedding day and photoshoot, and another white suit for indoor photoshoot. All over in less than 15 minutes hah.
Famished after the selection, we headed for ramen dinner at Keisuke Tonkoysu King at Orchid Hotel, which is just round the corner! Super long queue as usual, but at least the queue moved at a pretty decent pace.
